A verdict holds only when the arguments and evidence beneath it do.Proposing a conclusion
Anyone can propose a conclusion for a topic. It starts under review, and the upheld conclusion becomes the topic's verdict.
Review
Reviewers uphold a conclusion, or dismiss it with a reason:
- Non sequitur: the conclusion doesn't follow from the arguments.
- Invalid argument: it rests on an argument that was ruled invalid.
- Unverified evidence: it depends on evidence that wasn't found authentic.
