Methodology

How evidence is evaluated

Evidence must be authentic before it can support anything.

Submitting evidence

Evidence is submitted to a topic as a source link, an image or a document, and can then be cited by arguments. When someone cites evidence on an argument they didn't write, the argument's author approves the citation.

Review

  • Under review: submitted and waiting for a reviewer.
  • Authentic: the source is genuine and says what it is presented as saying.
  • Not authentic: the source is fabricated, altered or misrepresented.
  • Declined: the submission doesn't meet the standards for evidence.

Editing evidence after review sends it back under review.
